Transmission on 98 ford windstar went out in the black hills of south dakota 8/09 (about 90, 000 miles on it) Had it fixed at the AAMCO in Rapid City. Transmission was rebuilt at cost of about $2, 500. 15 months later (11/10) transmission goes out again in Minneapolis. Needs to be rebuilt at a cost of $2, 700. Will not honor 12 month warranty. Very suspicious that 3 months out of warranty transmission goes to hell again and needs to be REBUILT again. Any other negative experiences have people had?
