For any and all looking to buy tires made by Cooper, buyer beware! The warranty department at Cooper Tire and Rubber Company is a joke and possibly a fraud. On August 17th, 2010, a Cooper Lifeliner GLS tire created a significant vehicle pull after being used for only 5, 703 miles. The tires were installed new on a 1998 Ford Taurus at a local dealership. The tire pull was verified and diagnosed at the installing dealership and an independent tire shop. A new tire had to be purchased FIRST, then the defective tire sent in for a warranty claim.
