I have been taking 6 hours of graduate level courses online. When I began these courses in August, I contacted ACS and told them I would like for my student loan to go into deferrment or forebearance, whichever was best. I was assured by customer support that this would be taken care of. A month later, I received notice that my student loan payment was late. I called and was assured that the only problem was that my school had not verified my attendance and that it would be taken care of. Guess what?
