A man called and stated that he was from Clear Rate Communications and that Frontier had authorized him to call and let me know that they would be my new landline provider and that I would have a lower bill since they would now be providing the service that Frontier had purchased from Verizon earlier this year. The new rate was NOT a promotional rate and would never go up as long as I kept the same services that I currently have.
