I chose ABM Vanlines because of a quote I received online and per phone. The quote was for $ 1000.00 for 2000lb, if I did my own packing. The movers arrived as agreed, and began loading my things. I asked them repeatedly about an estimate of my weight, and if they thought I exceeded the 2000 lb. The foremean assured me that I was right at, or even below 2000lb. I told him that I would get rid of more things if he thought that I exceeded that weight, but he again assured me that I was probably only slightly over the 2000 lb.
