Late last year my dad received an SMS on his pre-paid Vodacom cell phone offering him R30 free airtime if he replied 'YES'. He did and got a message back to say that he would receive the airtime within the next 10 days. He never received the free airtime instead he noticed that there was a debit order on his Standard Bank cheque account for an amount of R151 which he had not authorised.
