I had Direct TV for 2 years with constant problems with bad converter boxes, lousy reception in cloudy weather and HD channels that never worked. SO when my contract was up they informed my of the lovely increase in rate at which point I chose to cancel. They convinced us to go month to month offering the basic family package at $45. 1/3 of the channels and my first bill arrived at $95!!! $15 less than my previous package for next to no channels!!
