I cannot successfully pay HSBC mortgage online. I use to in the distant past. Now I get "error" (Link ER-RC2:025 when I try to submit. Have tried "forgot password" etc., in order to re-set, but without success. So-called "security" has gotten out of hand...seems more like job security by/for techies. Must always call customer service and pay mort. by telephone, or mail-in. Per instructions from cust. ser., I've tried to re-register online; always get warning that I am "already registered."
