I have a car loan which originated in November, 2007 with CitiFinancial Auto and was recently taken over by Santander. Since purchasing the vehicle my wife and I have suffered more than a 25% loss of annual income. CitiFinancial worked with us by deferring payments and a six month reduced payment plan. We have been back on the original payment plan for three months and were told we would qualify for another payment deferrment. Santander will not listen or make an effort to work with us, just harassing phone calls. We have consistently paid before being 30 days late even with our financial hardship. read full review »
