I wasnt hurt when the person Hit my car, so I asked that he simply replace my bumper. The accident happened right in fron of an auto body shop so we pulled in there and thats where the first estimate was given. Direct was the insurance co. They came out gave their appraisal and refused to pay for an original factory bumper for my 6 mos. old car. They insisted that an after market bumper was all they were required to pay for.
