I was given a Shark Cordless SV800 vacuum as a Xmas present. There was NOTHING in the manual that indicated operating time other than the battery pack needed a 24 inital charge. The charging light went off after the 24hours and the vacuum worked well and ran for about 45 mins. before shutting down. However, after that first use and charging the battery pack again for 24 hours the charging light did not go off, so I insertedt the battery pack into the vacuum, but it ran for only 15 minutes.
