Even though this Administration has begun a program entitled Making Home Affordable to help people modify their current mortgages and avoid foreclosures, individual banks are placing their own restrictions and requirements to qualify for this program so that most people are told they do not qualify. PNC Bank has done this to me and through their machinations and manipulations not only did not help me reduce my interest rate or monthly payments but instead actually INCREASED my monthly payment $300 per month.
