I went to a TD Bank in Queens on 9/7/10 to apply for a re-financing of my mortgage. As I have a well-paying job, some monies in the bank, and credit scores in the high 700s and low 800s, I was conditionally approved for a 3.75% 15-year rate right away. After that, the nightmare began. Although I asked and asked (via email and telephone) to find out exactly what documents were needed, I did not receive the list for almost a month.
