I applied for a job at Kohl's right before Christmas. My 1st day started on Black Friday working 8 1/2 hrs. I was told I got a 15% discount along with my husband and dependent children. (That was not true, only employees get the discount and you HAVE to apply for THEIR credit card to get it) Learned that the hard way after spending nearly $700 on Christmas presents and they wouldn't give me the discount.
