We purchased a HP direct Drum for our HP color laser jet 2840 for $181.00 and when it just stopped printing on New Years Day, we had to purchase an off market Drum for $81.00. When the off market drum did not work for our printer I was instructed to just take off the computer chip off the back and switch it out with our HP Drum. Our Drum is perfect, we have been printing for 6 days with NO issues. So our Drum was FINE HP just wanted us to buy a new one. Is this LEGAL?? read full review »
