MCL 600.3204 (1) (d) requires that a party own the indebtness or interest in the indebtness BEFORE foreclosing by advertisemnt.
Each provision of a statue (MCL 600.3204) should be given effect, and each should be read to harmonize with others. See Michigan Basic Property Insurance v Ware, 230 Mich App. 4, 49; 583 NW2d 240 (1998).

While we are aware of pets being kept by co-owners, according to your by-laws there is a "NO PET" restriction that does not allow pets of any kind permit on the premises or in your condominium. The Shiawassee Condominium Association (Southfield, MI) through its attorney, Jeanne V. Barron (P37138) denies that it breached any of its duties and further denies that it was neglegent but states it was guided by, and strictly observed all of its legal duties and obligations imposed by operation of law, the condominium bylaws and otherwise, in that all of the actions of its agents, servants, and/or employees were careful, proper, prudent and lawful. A request for snow mantenance was submitted to the Shiawassee Condominium Association (Southfield, MI) on 12/17/2007 after a heavy snow fall (12/16/2007). The Shiawassee Condominium Association on 12/24/2007 responded "these items are co-owner responsibilities. The association will take no action on them clear snow. None [snow] available at this time. According to the 11/15/2010 correspondence of Jeffrey Vollmer (P62728) associated with Wegner and Associates, P.C. (St. Clair Shores, MI), the Shiawassee Condominium Association on 11/02/2010 foreclosed and purchased Unit 108 addressed at 25340 Shiawassee and purchased it. The Shiawassee Condominium Association on November 02, 2010 did not purchase the mortgage debt and did not purchase Unit 108.
