I contracted with American Moving on 12/18/08 with a $295 deposit to pick up my car on 12/30 from Morris Plains, NJ to Cedar Creek, TX. They did not show up or call. It is now 1/12/09 and the car is still sitting in NJ. When I do get someone on the line the excuse for not picking up is that they can't contact the driver or that all of the drivers have quit carrying cars due to the economy and non payment for deliveries with auto companies. When I asked for a refund I was told that they are charging a cancellation fee and would not refund the money for 30 days. read full review »
