I received a call from a Wells Fargo Collections Manager in regards to my student loans. I am currently in school so it was strange to me why this lender wanted to speak with me so urgently. As he started he said that my loan was in collections and I needed to pay (an absurd amount) or else. I began to explain that I should not even be in collections and suggested that he go back in the paperwork and research.
