I had 2 houses foreclosed back in Aug 2002. The statute of limitations is only 7 years and should be off my credit profile. I've been trying for 1 1/2 years to get Onewest bank to respond to me and I'm being stonewalled. Yesterday, Friday, Jan 14, 2011, I filed a federal lawsuit against Onewest Bank for FCRA Violations. I know there are lots of people out there who have been having issues with Onewest bank DBA Indymac bank.
