I had a loan thru CIT Bank and in the last 2 years it was taken over by Vericrest Financial, Inc. When they took over I noticed that I would receive my bill and the due date for payment was only 5 days from when I received the bill. I complained to them and they said they were working on the problem and they would not charge me a late fee if I sent my bill within a few days after that due date.
