Oh, I am so glad I found this format to complain on. I feel so much better knowing that I am not alone in my hatred for DirecTV. DirecTV's early cancellation fees are completely and totally deceptive and unethical. They should be held accountable for the rape of the American consumer. Their resolution services are just as bad. I signed up for DirecTV through Verizon (who BTW is almost as bad as DirecTV), but I digress.
