Samsung is being too many things to too many people. I HAD a great DVD player but was rendered useless after the automatic firmware update. That was a week before Thanksgiving. The BDP-3600 was an odd shaped player in a high gloss black finish. No complaints and loved the fact I could scream Netflix thru it. THEN firmware update they knew was corrupted was sent out and locked up the player. This was the 4th product from Samsung that was less than 3 years old that needed to be fixed.
