In January of 2007 my wife and I began paying back her student loan to ACS. The payment was approximately $260.00 per month. Every month that I could I would pay a little extra. In March of 2010 ACS sent us a letter that the loan was now split into two separate loans and the new payment was $460.94. When they split the loan into two separate loans I began to send the payment via my bank's electronic banking.
