I had bought a ticket for my ticket for travel to France. The price wasn't bad but it was no bargain either. British Air had requirements about his checking in etc, which he followed but the BA website would not let him indicating that he had to do that at the airport. He used his passport in Portland, Oregon for checking in with United, security, etc. and it was accepted along the way with no comments about the passport.
