MAYTAG / WHIRLPOOL

Bought an $1800 3-door / bottom freezer Maytag/whirlpool refrigerator from Lowe's six years ago. The compressor went & they want $700 to repair. I WILL NOT spend $700 to repair a 6 year old fridge that will probably die again. MAYTAG's are JUNK. Every other brand refrigerator I've owned lasted 15-20 years with NO REPAIRS and I gave these away in good working order to others. Went out & bought a 4 door fridge (not maytag) Cost $80 to have a maytag repairman 'look-at-it' I will NEVER buy a maytag / whirlpool product again. read full review »

XM promised me free on-line listening when I signed up & they re-neged on that promise. I have been trying to cancel my subscription for almost TWO WEEKS now. You can sign-up on-line & activate a radio on-line. They maintain your credit card info online (which you don't authorize & can't delete) They refuse to cancel subscriptions on-line so I guess refunds for un-used time is out of the question. Now it's how to stop them from automatically re-newing and ANOTHER hassle. They have absolutely useless people... read full review »
