I received several calls from 3 people claiming to work for California Law Firm saying that I had violated 3 Federal laws and they had filed a law against me for a payday loan that I had taken out in 2008. In order to get the charges withdrawn I needed to give them $650.00 to settle the matter. When I asked for an address in order to send a cashiers check for that amount the callers became belligerant and hostile saying that the police would come to my house and arrest me if I didn't pay them right then.
