I started the refinancing process with Bank of America the first of October to consolidate a first and second mortgage... it is now February and still no closing date. The appraisal was done at the end of October, and this should be a straightforward loan with no hiccups since my husband and I both have excellent credit scores and have been diligent in sending all the paperwork they have requested in a timely manner.
