I had gotten back from a chaotic business trip and for the first time in my life, forgot to pay a credit card bill, which was due the day upon my return. I had perfect credit and always paid my bills on time. I just received a phone call from First National Bank of Omaha stating that I now owe $2500 for not paying my January bill, which was only around $1000.
