I purchased AVG 2011 Antivirus thinking it would help protect my personal information when I went online, 2 weeks later after the software was installed on my laptop I contracted a Rootkit while on Google Chrome. My computer (purchased by my brother just before he passed away) is not operable and may not be fixable.
