When I got laid off in April 08, I started to fall behind on payments, if I was one day late I was called and harrassed. I always made my payments and never let it get more then 1 month behind. I was unemployed till July 08 and single mother struggling just to make rent, utilities, daycare, food and expenses for Son on unemployment check. I still tried to make car payment but was harrassed daily and numerous times by CPS.
