I purchased a LG washer/dryer combo back in August 2007 and bought the extended service plan as I know these machines are quite new and the sales person re-assured me that it was a good idea. By September 2008, I was already having issues with this machine and contacted Home Depot Extended plan and Home Depot told me they don't handle the Extended Service Plan - but they outsource it to General Electric.
