I have been a customer at wamu for 10 years and to my surprise my interest rate jumped from 9.99 to 31% interest. I called to find out why and they said due to too much credit availability. I had been a perfect customer as they said to me but not willing to negotiate on the interest. I cancelled the card. Since then My income has slacked and i called to see if they were willing to work out a payment plan on balance. They will not even concider it.
