Thought I signed up for the one annual free credit report. Next month I receive a bill from my credit card company with a MONTHLY service charge of $21.90 from CIC. CIC claims that when you sign up for the FREE credit report you are also consenting for them to charge you monthly for their services. When asked what their services are, they did not know!!! What a scam. Anyone else been scammed like this? I contacted my credit card company immediately to stop the charge and I have already been billed several times by them.
