Compass will sometime hold small bus corp checks out of the blue for 5 to 10 bus days. They have cashed these checks from this fortune 500 comp 17 times with no prob and then decided to start holding all of them. I closed the account turned my checkbooks in at this time and was told the account was closed. I had this account for 10 years with no od's. A $3 email account came through on the check card that was 'closed' and reopened the account with a 38 over draft charge and 7 dollars a day for overdrwnfree. 9 months later... read full review »
