I applied for a payday loan on their website. I did not get the loan, but weeks later saw that they had charged me $17.93 from my checking account. I did not even know who they were. I called the number the bank gave me for them, and was told that by applying for a loan on their website I had automatically subscribed to their "services." They demanded a police report from me before they would withdraw the charge. I told them I was calling my bank, which I did, and the bank withdrew the charge.
