The Magic Jack plugs into a USB port. I have enjoyed using my Magic Jack for over a year but last night the unit broke away from the USB plug and fell to the floor. The USB plug appears to have had 4 points that were soldered (not well) to 4 points inside the unit and that's all that held the 2 parts together. The Magic Jack is too heavy for the plug. I always noted that the weight made the unit hang down a bit. They won't replace it since it broke on my end. I am not willing to pay another $50 or so to replace it.
