I had agreed with Bank of America to make payments on my credit card. I wrote BOA a letter informing them I would only be able to pay 50% of the payment. I lost my employment and religiously made my payments. I continued to make my payments religiously. After about 5 months they called me and said I should stop sending in payments. I was flabberghasted ! I subsequently stopped the payments since they told me to. Subsequently, collection agencies started contacting me.
