we bought a televsion 4 years ago, paid 1, 000.00, trusted that Ge would provide a good long standing product. The tv suddenly quit working and after an internet search found that many people have the same problem, and bought their sets within a 4 month time frame as our purchase. ALL the same diagnostic problem, the repair for this will cost 400.00. I find this to be an obvious manufacturing problem, and feel that thomson should step up to the plate, and offer a solution, besides the one that was offered, " maybe its time to buy a new tv" ! For the money we spent we should be able to expect more time from the appliance. read full review »
