I purchased my home and the loan was Originally with Option One. After 2 years it was sold to American Servicing Company. When I purchased my home, my credit was not so great and so I was only able to be approved with a 3 year ARM Loan. My loan adjusted from 6.5% to 12.5%. My payments nearly doubled and I could not afford it. I was never late on payments until my rate started adjusting. I tried to refinance but due to me being late, no one will refinance my loan.
