Purchased a top of the line Maytag Neptune washer and dryer and after 4 years of service it now needs $1400 in parts and it only cost $1200 we bought. I have called the customer service for Maytag and they have no care in the world an all they want to do it hope that it lasts you till your warrenty is over and then they can wash there hands of it. the problem with mine is that the seal and bearing are leaking water onto the clutch and causing it to fail.
