Advertisments were advertising Burgerking meals for £2.99, so we visited our local branch at Birtley services Tyne and Wear on the 7th of March 2009. We were shocked to be charged £6.99 per meal. Was this because it is situated on the A1 motorway, because if so it should be stated for customers to see. I feel this was a shocking daylight robbery and breach of customers trust in their advertising campaign. I will never visit this branch ever again and feel I, m owed an explanation as to why they can grossly overcharge customers. read full review »
