I am the primary individual on my 2006 Chevy Equinox contract, but I have been divorced for a year. In my divorce decree, my x-wife stated she wanted full responsibility for the vehicle. She wants everything, including payments and all. I believe if it is on paper that an x- spouse wants full responsibility for the vehicle it should be given to that spouse and contract changed.
