After battling with Circuit City for months with support and response from the store of purchase, I had no alternative but to go to the credit card company (Chase) for assistance. It would appear this type of customer rip-off is something Circuit City and Chase developed into a real science because neither corporate nor Chase would make any effort to correct their "error".
