MGC and Ocwen
Good news! I have MGC and Ocwen backed into a corner with a four federal allegations. Court date (again) is set for the end of this month. My lawyer believes they are not prepared and are ready to settle. Only took three and half years!
My overview. I had Ocwen FSB as my primary loan for about 10 years. I filed a Ch 13 bankruptcy. Paid everything off as the plan dictated, and was released from it. MGC
I see a lot of complaints, but I noticed I have been handling mine a bit differently, so I thought I would share.
MGC is a loan servicing company, so they did not “buy” my mortgage; they are just taking over the administration of it from the unknown mortgage holder(s). This company is paid for managing my loan, but they make more money in “reasonable fees” if/when the mortgages go into default. This gives them a reason to mismanage the account.
