I opened a secure credit card with former, Providian now Wamu Credit or soon to be Chase and I went online to make a payment to discover that the due date was the day before and they wanted to charge me $39.99. I discussed with the rep that I get an alert telling me when the payment is due. I made a payment the day before my alert to find out the alert was an error.
