Countrywide is the worst financial institution in the United States. It is not surprising they have been a part of scandal. Countrywide is the Mortgage Company I pay, and can you believe that I spoke to 4 different people and got 4 different responses. I called inquiring about a lower interest rate and/or a program I may qualify to lower my 7.9% interest rate on my $127, 000 home loan that is now valued at $100, 000 dollars.
