Purchased a Protron Portable DVD, model #PDV-288 from Sears. Immediate problems charging portable battery pack to give the claimed 2.5 hours battery life. (only about 1 hour of battery life.) After not using appliance for approximately 6 mos., unable to charge battery pack at all. Not able to locate a replacement battery pack. Not able to contact Protron either by telephone, e-mail, or connect to their web site. Third party suppliers (Radio Shack, etc.) unable to provide a comparable replacement battery pack. Sears claims not to have any connection to Protron, and unable to supply replacement battery pack. read full review »
