The homeowners association where I live has a policy of head-in parking only. This policy was put in place for very practical reasons as there have been cases where fires have been started in pinestraw from vehicles that back into parking spots due to hot exhaust pipes or sparks. The USPS refuses to abide by this policy and when I spoke to the mail delivery person about this, his response was that USPS regulations supercede safety concerns. Their policy is just plain wrong, and the arrogance of the mail delivery person did not leave me with a very good impression of USPS employees. read full review »
