Here's how Capital One is dealing with the economy to get good customrs to charge more----they are raising my interest rates to twice what I'm payihng on the card issued by my credit union. I have never missed a payment and I've been paying way more than the minimum monthly payment. I owe less than $500 now. I've had the card for over ten years. Up until recently they were begging me to sign up for rewards or a lower rate. Now my rate jumps to at least 17.9% on any new purchases. And on top of these "favorable rates" I pay an annual fee of $69. Do you think I'm going to keep this card open? No way. read full review »
