I was contacted by Excel Loss Mitigation by telephone and they explained to me all the ways in which they could help me with my house. Originally I tried to do a loan modification and when that was denied I decided to try for a short sale. I paid them 1200.00 and they did absolutely nothing for me. I worked with 4 different representatives because they either were quitting or getting fired. They kept telling me offers were coming in and we were almost done.
